World hour record

Robert Marchand improved his own hour record at the National Velodrome of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines in Montigny-le-Bretoneux. No not the normal hour record, but the record for people of 100 years and older. In 2011 he cycled 24,251 meters, yesterday he covered 26,927 meters (according to the source it can also be 26,925 meters) within the hour. As a young boy he dreamed of being a professional cyclist, but this didn’t work out right. At the age of 67 he started cycling again. And with what result! PS: The hour record is not the only impressive fact on his top list…
